I was in another state a short time ago and noticed a wheelchair bound man in front of his car with the hood up. There must have been 8 cars that passed him without one stopping. he only needed some water for his radiator to get him to the next exit.

To make a long story short; A young couple acted broke down in WY and had a baby with them. The elderly couple that stopped were later found dead and the young people are in prison for murder and robbery. I don't stop but I do call 911 and report it.

I always make the effort to stop when I think that they are in need of help. Now a days most people have cell phones and are able to call for help, but I like to stop to ask just in case. The good Samaritan thing I guess..=)

If i were a man i might, it's not a habit of mine to stop but if you had said old lady instead of man. Also it is dangerous just to pull off. Many police officers and construction workers are hit by cars not paying attention. So i would be reluctand to stop in my minivan with my 3 kids.

No, it is dangerous for oncoming traffic and myself. Plus I don't know why the person is stopped. I help them more than I could if I stopped my self, by calling the proper authorities to go to the seen. That way they can make a perimiter around the person and help them, in a way that no one gets harmed.

Well, if I saw something like that, I would.
But I guess you could say I'm evil
and I don't stop. It's just that I'm not a car person
and I don't know anything, except like the basics.
What's what. Otherwise, I don't stop because I wouldn't know how to help.
