What are you going to do for the rest of eternity after the world is no more?

the mayan calendar stopped on Dec. 21, 2012. They never invented the wheel yet their mathematics were highly advanced and they could even calculate what day of the week that day would fall on. Some Mayan artwork even shows reliefs of what looks like ancients sitting in "rockets" , inclined for launch....what did these people know? I don't really believe it, but I will notice the day when it passes.

Sounds like another Y2K thing. If the Mayans had a MAC they wouldn't have been so dismal in their outlook. Every civilization bases life on the fear of death. 20 year (approx.) is an assumed generation. A cycle of life and death and life renewed in the next generation with a hope that they can correct the mistakes we make.
World no more? The world will be here a long time after we are gone for whatever reason. We do it to ourselves, over and over. It will catch up to us.
But, for the sake of the question, at the end, I will be content of my life, my mistakes, the things I learned, the people I've helped, and give comfort to those I care about who may not understand their lives yet. Afterwards, I will become one with the energy of the universe and perhaps re-invent life again as best I can. Hopefully no one will worship me for it.
