I like #1 also. But her hair is more wavey--which I think is part of what makes those bangs look so cute.
If you are cutting your hair, maybe start the with longer ones, and if you don't like it, you can always go shorter--not so if you go with the shorter ones first!

i like them both a lot, but if i had to choose one i would pick #2 (nicole richie) because i like how the bangs are long and sweep across the forehead more... it's mysterious... and seductive... haha
