The book Twilight by Stephenie Meyer looks very interesting to me, but I'm a boy and I heard it had romance in it. I can tolerate a little romance but not very much. I know it has adventure in it but is there more romance than action? Are there any boys who have read it and liked it?

there are TONS of guys who are stephenie meyer fans and i would not categorize the book as "romance" but more of a drama with action and romance. DEFINITELY read it if it looks interesting. if you like it then you HAVE to read new moon because in my opinion it is much less romantic and much more on the edge of your seat.

If you don’t like romance, then you will probably find Twilight tedious, as the majority of the book focuses on the relationship between Bella and Edward—a human and a vampire who meet and fall in love. That’s the main story. There is some action, but it’s more towards the end and only comprises a small part of the story. I wouldn’t recommend this book just for action/adventure, or to someone who does not like romance.
However, there are some boys who like it. Stephenie Meyer use to have photos up on her website of boys who’d come out to her signings as “proof” of her boy fans. Personally, I don’t think it matters if you’re a “boy” or a “girl”: you like what you like.
My suggestion would be to check it out from the library. It’s free, and if you don’t like it, you can simply take it back.

You definitely wouldn't like it. The entire book is from a girl's point of veiw of this boy (who's a vampire and supposed to be gorgeous) and how they fall in love. Around the end, there is action, but as for the rest, it's mostly romance.

Yes I think a boy would like Twilight and New Moon, there both very good books and I enjoyed them (i'm a girl but oh well) it isn't as romancey as one would think. ITs a very good book and I would recomend it to a guy anyday.

heh, theres quite a bit of romance in it. also quite a bit of adventure. from i've heard, all guys like this. well everyone likes stephanie's writing exept the sex-obcessed people hoping to get turned on.
so i don't know, you should like it.

I know a guy who really enjoyed that book; he borrowed it from me. The thing is, if you knew him... Well, if you knew him, that would probably stop you from reading Twilight.
