I am not saying this to be ugly, but it's really how I feel. Bush isn't making the US a joke, because he has already made it a joke. Not only to so many Americans, but to countless foreigners. I can't tell you how many people outside this country think poorly of Bush, I know, I have talked to many people. And it's not just recently either. It's been going on for some time now.

I don't listen to anything the Bush administration says. Well, I hear it, but I don't listen to it. I don't agree with most of what they are doing and there is nothing I can do to change it right now, so I pretty much ignore it. It's pointless to get angry anymore.

Yes, the world currently looks at the U.S. Policies as a joke. Bush has been the republican "diversion clown" for 6 1/2 years now and it is frustration that nothing of intelligence or truth hardly gets out of his mouth. His handlers I'm sure are taking care of the Republican Partry's "Hidden Agenda", while letting "Bo Bo" pretend to be president and hanging around with those in power! Even some our own countrymen take Bush seriously and think he's actually doing something. Kinda funny!

don_vvvvito - according to you then, George Bush is a liberal.
(he's just a clown they hired as a diversion). Get a grip!

DOC - listen up...."To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."- Theodore Roosevelt, 1918

What makes this country a joke is the way some Americans, such as yourself, treat their president. I don't care if you disagree a with a president of either party but the incredibly disrespecting ways that people talk about presidents like Bush and Clinton make me ill. Every time i turn around i hear or see a joke about Clinton's cigar or Bush's drinking.

EDIT: At this point they can't do anymore real damage and we should worry more about listening to the new candidates to make sure everyone is more educated on who they vote for in the primaries and the main election next year. I'm amazed at how many people were unaware of Hillary's comment in a recent debate where she practically said that the average american is to stupid to handle their own money. And people who don't understand that Giuliani is basically a liberal that is called a conservative because he's much tougher on crime and supports our troops in the Iraq war.

Those of us outside the US only listen because we are afraid of what the madman is going to focus on next. His administration has done a great job of pulling the wool over the citizen's eyes for a long time now. A good example is Jeremy (above). The Iraqis had NOTHING to do with 911, it was the Saudis (who are the Bush family bff's). But they have convinced people like Jeremy that by invading Iraq and Afghanistan they made the US a safer place.

What it did was alienate the US from the rest of the world (and I'm totally ashamed to say that my Prime Minister fell for it too).

A joke is really the wrong word for what the world thinks right now. Fear that he and his administration are pulling the rest of us into World War lll comes to mind.

You guys need to impeach him and Cheney asap, before they do permanent damage. Good luck.

Seditious speech is no joking matter. That the rest of the corrupt world might laugh is of little consequence. It's rarely ever easy to stand up and do what is right. What's truly sad is that there are so many spineless, soft in the head and belly people here who have no clue the difference between right and wrong. They'd sooner support one who stole old folks retirement pensions, lied under oath and to you and me and laughed all the way to the bank! You people are an embarrassment!

I believe Bush has this great vision of becoming this legacy president in history, a great leader, standing tall amongst the wars presidents of history. His delusions pervade him. He does not act alone. I can't believe only one person could think up such things. His utilization of misinformation is baffling! Then again he does not act alone. He has many henchmen who've devised and calculated the many ways that things could and could've profligated. He is a dismal man and I feel nothing for his boastful, egotistical arrogance.

I know that I haven't bothered to listen to a State of the Union address for years. And I'm a Republican.

I don't think he's made the U.S. a joke, but he's done a good job of making our party into one. I hope we can recover from that in time for the next election.

Yes, because I think he is trying like a bear to keep everyone happy, and no way is he making a joke of America, he deserves more respect than people are willing to give him, I am angry about why he is so soft with the Iranian regime, when they are MURDERING our troop's in Iraq and Afghanistan, but I refuse to slander him just for the he11 of it, I think that is just down right nasty.
