My cousin has these insane palms that sweat like mad. This is a problem for me every once in a while, whenever I let her play with my Nintendo DS lite. After she leaves, I always wipe my DS using a pack of "Wet Ones" (wet paper towels). I'm wondering now, though, if this is a bad thing to do, especially since the bottom screen is touch-sensitive. Am I ruining my DS?

In the links below you'll find all the DS cleaning tips from the manufacture.
I wouldn't recommend any other methods.

It is bad if you leave the DS screen wet and don't dry it the moment you get it wet. This will leave marks on the DS. Although, it won't do anything really bad to your DS like not make it work.

It could mess up because u r supposed to use dry paper towels. It could affect your touch screen and DS itself.
