Every time I fill up my car's gas tank and know that many of our politicians are major stock holders in the oil companies. Seems like a matter of a violation of ethics to me.

Yes, I'd say multiple times a day. Shoot, between my husband (who is an authority of sorts) my boss, my professors...yes, a lot.
