I took an IQ test and i got a score of 82. I want to know is this bad or good? I am 13 years old so is that a good score for my age? I am gifted and have been so since 2nd grade. Please answer me if you can. Thank you!!

Ignore the people before me!
Since you are gifted, you have probably already looked up IQ scores.The MOST important thing for you to remember is:
everyone can have a bad test day, and you obviously did.
Just reading the way you phrased your question and punctuated it, proves you have a much higher IQ. Where and what type of test did you take?
IQs remain constant, no matter what your age. [ I had the exact same score at 13, 36, and 51; administered by a professional ].

Yep! An IQ of 79 is considered mentally retarded. I think you must have mistakenly answered the questions wrong. Possibly if it was an online test there was a communication error or something. I dont believe that if you have an IQ of 82 that you would have been able to word your question the way you did and have all your spelling correct.....unless you used spell checker, but then again I dont think even an 82 IQ person would have done as well as you, even with spell check.
If you are worried about it try a different IQ test.
You should score at least 104 and above to not worry about your intelligence.

When I was in eight grade mine was 142, my parents were called to school, and they were told that this was exceptional so being in the eighty range is good, you made it through to eighth grade so it must be, and your only thirteen. I wouldn't place to much emphases on it anyway, a lot of people with high IQ's are stupid, they only have book smarts and no common sense. Most people don't do well on these tests because they are nervous especially kids your age, they worry about looking stupid and that you certainly are not !!!!!P.S.By the way Chris Brown is, never mind you didn't get it, so why should I tell you.
