So why are scientists creating theory on subatomic ?

In a particle accelerator (to my understanding) it is possible to see these subatomic particles by the friction they create going through a gas, X (can't remember its name).

While the particles may only exist for billionths of a second scientists can determine alot about them in that time, such as its charge (by observing its change in direction through a magnetic frield) and mass.

my textbook had a cool picture of this but I dont have access to it anymore.

Your question was: Can anyone logically explain why the medium could tell you about your family. This I can answer. I'll try and keep this simple. Within each human being there is a Spirit. When the human being dies, the spirit rises and greets GOD. Whether the spirit crosses over to Heaven or stays within the realms of this universe, he/she is still alive, in the eyes of GOD. Within the universe there are only what is called Rogues [demons] [those Spirits who appear as Ghosts, those who are not ready to cross over for personal reasons, such as someone he/she is worried about, some feel unworthy. Anyway, it is these who will come through and speak. Most of the time however, it is the rogues who speak on behalf of the deceased relative to get people like you interested and believing that these people are from GOD and have abilities. The way you can tell where the information is coming from is if the Reader gets wrong information, meaning you say NO to something they told you about. If this happens then it's coming from demons not from your relatives. Anything and Everything that comes from GOD will always be spot on, as GOD never lies. Take Care

We don't even see photons per se. Also, we can not see DNA or the doube helix that heory sayd it forms. However research into it has led to a great many advances in medicine and our understanding of the world around us.

You may or may not be suprised to learn that we also do not have the imaging capacity to see the nuclei of atoms and are only just beggining to get the ability to properly view the nuclei of cells. (which by the way contain VAST numbers of atoms)

I guess what I am trying to say is taht the study of sub atoms theroy is teaching us quite alot. Just because we can not produce real images of these items does not mean the do not exist or that their existance does not effect us.

Nuclear energy for example would not exist without the study of sub-atomic theory. Nor would nuclear medicine...

Um, no. We can convert the image formed by other forms of radiation into visible light on a computer screen to see them. Ever heard of an electron microscope? Theories of subatomic particles can be tested by more abstract methods that imaging too.

The premise that if we can not observe something with our eyes we can not know about it is a flawed assumption. We can not detect the individual wavelengths of starlight but using a spectrometer we can tell what the composition is of a stellar atmosphere is at a distance of hundreds of light years.

We don't 'see' photons - they transfer energy to our eyes. Photons don't really have a size anyway. We can theorize about the subatomic and find other ways to observe it - we can magnify it if necessary.

We can't hear subsonic sounds, but we can sense them with instruments. We can't see xrays or UV rays, but we can detect them with instruments.

The simple answer is there is PLENTY of logic in explaining things that are far outside of human sensory perception.

We are able to correctly explain many things that can not be seen. The sense of sight is not the only sense.

A photon has no mass, therefore it has no size.
