I had / have a cruel step mother, she has caused me much pain and insecurity, but I learned early on to forgive her, it has been the only way for me to "keep" "me" intact, the way I want to be, the kind of person I want to be, which is not a bitter or resentful person, so now instead of being angry with her I simply credit her cruelty with enlightening me, and forcing me to go to higher ground and experience growth which has made me a better and more forgiving person. I have little relapses sometimes, but I generally bounce back fairly quickly.

As awful as it sounds it is my Mom. She is never happy and complains all the time. Plus I have caught her in so may lies but if I call her on them she has a health spell to make us all worry. She stirs up trouble in our family all the time. I wish she could just be happy.
