Who is your favorite country singer? Mine would have to be Johnny Cash...Does anyone else agree with me?

My favorite of all time is George Jones. Guys like Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Keith Whitley, George Strait, Alan Jackson and Randy Travis all come in a close second.

Johnny Cash was one of the best there ever was.
But my favorite country singer is a current artist who does a pretty mean version of Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues" in her live set--Danielle Peck!

I do like Johnny Cash. Right now I'm listening to Merle Haggard. Some of my favs are George Strait, Brad Paisley, Reba McEntire and Martina McBride. There are a lot of great new comers.

I would have to agree that Johnny Cash was the best in his time, but today the best one for me is Toby Keith, this is a man that tells it like it is and is not afraid who does not agree with him, His music is from the heart, he so fantastic.

I can't pick just one! There are so many phenomenally talented folks out there. A few of my faves (in no particular order) Dolly, Charley Pride, George Jones, Hank Sr., Clint Black, Keith Whitley, Alison Krauss, Dwight Yoakam and, of course, Johnny Cash.

My favorite country band would be Alabama. I also like some old stuff like old hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Jim Reed, Willie Nelson.
