What kind of jobs would they let me do? I mean, what should I do? I already finished one book when I was 12, and Now I am turning 14 in July. I Havent even got to half of the others 4 books. I mean I havent even got to the middle of the next one, then I have three more once I finish that one. I really want to be an author. But, I am only 13, and I dont have enough money, and We cant waste money on that in my family. So, what should I do? Job wise. I mean my mom has let me have a job at home to clean the entire house for 25$ a week. What could I do? Seriously. Please help. Thankx.

You obviously have a lot of "get up and go" in you star!
What work can you do? Thats a hard question to help you with... use ur enterprising and creative spirit to go out and find something! Is there a local business that you frequent (perhaps a bookshop or newsagency) who you could ask for some sort of work with? perhaps you could do a paper run or cleaning for them or something?
You could try letterbox dropping for a catalogue delivery company in your area.... just be creative and think about what may be available in your area... and dont forget to ask mum and dad if it is ok to do whatever you are thinking about! (maybe mum and dad have friends who might want you to clean their house.... the list is endless!)

Go to your local newspaper and ask if they will let you be a junior reporter and submit articles they need. They pay for articles and it's pretty good money, like $50 for a restaurant review or a book review. A lot of newspapers want to attract the youth market. Also, you could cover sports games for the high schools or interview high-school athletes, or report on how things are changing for local youth. If you can write, this will teach you a lot.
