i just saw my first firefly of the year. this is my time.

I love fireflies. I can really appreciate it. I used to live near a large open meadow, and it was in a very rural area.
I used to walk by that field at night sometimes with my kids, and it would be sparkling like diamonds from all of the fireflies.

Yes, I have seen nothing but lovebugs for a month...so a firefly would be a little light at the end of the lovebug tunnel. :)

Yes, I saw one last night as I was leaving for the store. It made me feel 8 years old all over again. I can't wait to teach my daughter to chase them.
