When I googled the phone number listed with the transaction, not only did I find the passporttofun.com website, but I found a few other websites that were accusing passport to fun of running scams with fraudulent credit card charges. Now that I reported the incident, I'll probably get the charge refuned once mastercard contacts them, but obviously they're going to keep doing it to other people. How are they getting away with this without being shut down. This is credit card fraud.

I have reported them to mastercard, and they're not overseas. The address in the transaction detail says Connecticut.

good luck with the refund business -- i have had my identity stolen and got no refunds -- just a big fat ruined credit rating. i even opened a secured line of credit and had the money taken as soon as i put it on the card after the whole crash and burn episode.

this country needs some major credit reform and fast. i get tired of being judged on my low credit rating when i had nothing to do with it except refusing to pay for someone else having fun on my bill. i even think i figured out who it was -- most people know their identity thieves. you might want to do some checking before it gets worse.

Notifiy your credit card company immediately. Then file a complaint with the United States Post Office, this is a federal offense and postal inspectors will investigate and call in the proper federal authorities. The crime is called Interstate transit affecting interstate commerce.

I had somebody take a weekend holiday to Florida on my mastercard as quickly as. I had it canceled interior of 24 hours even though it wasn't sufficient. i could tell your economic employer to place a prestige on which cost that proclaims it a stolen card or identification theft cost. The economic employer will fix it with the aid of fact thats what you pay them for. they could ask you later in case you desire to the economic employer to prosecute, whether its a minimum quantity you will have them weigh down who ever did it. identification thieves are the scum of the earth.
