Google is the greatest thing ever.
Then Wikipedia -- I cannot believe the information volunteers put in there. That said, if you are writing something, you really need to double check on a couple of other google sources to make sure the references and information is correct. However, I use it all the time.

It's pretty good. I use it a lot for school. Even though we can't cite it as a reference, ever, because of a lot of misinformation, it is a good starting place if I don't understand a concept. The first time I looked at it I was Googling Jack White. After that I looked up penis hehe. I was having an immature moment!
