My computer just started turing off at random times and when I turn it back on sometimes the monotor doesnt work, but if i umplug it all and plug it back in and start it it works some times, no viruses, ad wear or spywear i had it all scanned and I really need help i need to know how to fix it, its running windows xp

CAMPANITA THE BATTERY IS A CMOS BATTERY AND ITS NUMBER IS CR2032
TRY DOING THE ABOVE .
OTHER POSSIBLE PROBLEMS
1)DRAINED OUT RAM
2)OVERHEATED CPU
3)FAULTY SMPS(POWER SUPPLY)
I CANT REALLY TELL YOU THE PROBLEM UNLESS I GET A HAND ON IT.

I had this problem, I told my computer teacher about it and she told me it could be that you need to replace this little battery, you can get it at radio shack it's cr- something check your manual it'll tell you what kind your computer needs. After i changed the battery my computer worked fine..i'll try to look for the battery number and let you know if u can't find it ok..hope it helped..

Make sure it is on a solid surface and plenty of air circulation and check for a newer video driver.

Could be you need to put in a new power supply?
