No. I'm very choosy about how ripe a banana is for me to eat it. I like them just barely yellow; any brown is a "no way" because the more ripe (brown on them) they are, the more "stringy" they get. Gross!!

lol! I hate those. I pick them off too. That's why I try to peel the banana slow, so they come off with the peel.
