Yeh for sure.
There is a commercial i always see and i really want to know who sings it but nobody ever knows what i am talking about lol

Some do if you go to their site. Sometimes you can look it up at Itunes. Whith the idea of Tivo they want you to think you are missing out. If they displayed the song's info, you could still see the information on a recorder and skip the commercial.

Yea. Especially car commercials, since they usually have such awsome classic rock songs.
Some commercials acually do that, but only for more modern songs, like they gave credit to John Mellancamp for the Ford commercial and Bon Jovi for that New Jersey commercial, but these are rare occurences.

yes, it would be. small letters in the corner stating the title and the artist would be very nice.
