I have bent toes, and was wondering if there was any cure to make it straight? I think the bent toes are due to the shoes I have been wearing and maybe the way I walk and the pressure I am giving to my feet/toes. All the toes in my left feet are bent towards the left and all the toes in my right feet are bent towards the right! Any way to make them straight? I hate showing off my feet in flipflops because they look deformed!!!!

Also, one time I think I wore these really tight shoes for a very long time and after I took off my shoes, my big toe had a bit of a purple bruise! It didn't hurt and NOBODY stepped on my foot and I don't know why it's not going away! WHAT TO DO? I have to use nail polish to cover up that purple bruise on my big toe!!! It's ugly to be shown!

PLEASE HELP ON BOTH MATTERS!!!! (BENT TOES AND THE BRUISED, PURPLE TOE!) THANKS!!!

I would definitely recommend you to see your nearest podiatrist for an evaluation. There he/she will watch you walk and take x-rays. You may need a procedure to straighten those toes out. If all the toes are bending away from the center portion of your body as you described, that could be a sign of rheumatoid arthritis. You should definitely get that worked up as well. Also, very important is to wear good supportive shoes, the more you wear high heels and pointed toed shoes, the more your feet and toes will hurt. Go check out www.healthyshoestore.com for more info. Good luck!

You need to go to foot specialist. It sounds like from description hard to tell over computer can't see . Hallux vallux a type of arthritis. It causes the toes of both feet to shift to the side on each foot as you describe . Stand flat foot and barefooted on the floor. Look down at your feet ,do they form a sort of triangle between your big toes? If they do , You need to get it seen about as soon as possible to get it corrected. Surgery will probably be your only option if this is what is wrong. Get a good pair of shoes .
