Some of the answers above are just plain ignorant. Do they think there were no Jews there before 1948. The Jews have been there for thousands of years. The land was taken from them by the Arabs. They only took back what was theirs to begin with. Recently on the Discovery channel they showed the trailings from an excavation being done by the Palestinians at the Dome of the Rock. The archaeologist found seals used by the Jews and other evidence that the Jews were there thousands of years before the Arabs. Watch the thumbs down from the anti-Semites.

they cant, that is what makes them weird, politically. they know theyre wrong ,and will defend their viewpoint.
When the isrealis started moving into the area, those living there were INVITED to stay in the newly formed country. THE PALESTINIANS CHOSE NOT TO BE PART OF THE NEW COUNTRY.
Usually when a country wins a war, they gain the right to exist and are officially reoconized as a legit entity. The middle easterns have chosen to ignore this, instead trying to kill as many israelis as possible.
while there is enough blame to go around on all sides of this issue. I believe israel as a nation has the right to exist. As christians and jews may realise, any attempt to wipe israel off the world, usually doesnt meet with much success, unless allowed by god.
Assyrian and babylonian occupations as a reference. considering how the bible old and new is written, do you want to be the one to destroy israel?

They have an anti-American agenda and pursue this claiming human rights, environmental concerns, historical concerns, racism and a wide range of things that divert and lie about their actual agenda. If everyone was honest about what their real motives were we wouldn't have the ACLU, Greenpeace, Democrats, Amnesty International and a wide range of other groups. Before you start bashing me not 100% of these groups are horrible though almost all of them are. One environmental group I do support is the Sea Shephard. The founder of the Sea Shephard was one of the founders of Greenpeace when the mission was to end whaling. He doesn't get paid over $600,000 per year like the current head of Greenpeace, he truely fights for the oceans which was the original intent and people collecting money for him aren't paid a 24% of everything they collect. They actually pay to go on capaigns against drift netting and whaling with him.

Dude, the Middle East is a total mess. Too much hatred everywhere.
The Israelis let arabs live in Israel. They have arab citizens. Those are the peaceful, decent people.
The Palestinian people are just totally, slap-happy nuts. Anyone who promises them a homeland, they go blow themselves up, fire rockets into Israel, etc.
Not one of them has ever realized that if they stopped attacking Israel, Israel would give them the West Bank and Gaza Strip and passage across Israel to both.
Instead they just make it necessary to retaliate and assassinate everytime the Israelis get bombed or subjected to rocket attacks.
The whole thing is a stinking mess! And its not just an arab/israeli issue. Fatah and Hamas are sworn enemies and Hizbollah hate the Palestinians anyway and use them like a napkin dispenser at Wendy's.
Point is, let the extremists kill each other off and leave the rest of us people alone.

You have to look at this from the Palestinian viewpoint to understand where this comes from. These people have been fighting for centuries. The Israelis are responsible for a lot of mayhem. Read the history or the Old Testament and you can find numerous atrocities committed in the, "name of God", or God's will by them as well as those that inhabit the entire area. This land was simply given to the Israelis by the Allies at the end of WW2. It would be like some group giving your land to another without your consent. I don't personally think violence settles anything but we have to look at conflict from both sides to find a viable solution. Humanist has a point but is a bit radical in his diatribe.

Bottom line: For every Israeli killed by Palestinians, 10 Palestinians are killed by the Israelis. Furthermore, Palestinians are fighting foreign occupiers on their land. Just because the USA steals their land and gives it to white Europeans doesn't make it legitimate. Israel is an illegal nation exterminating the indigenous ppl. Clearly Israel is there to stay, but Palestine should also exist. Until Palestinians have their own country, every Palestinian attack is legitimate. Except, of course, for bombing school buses or schools. Oh wait. It's Israel that bombs school buses these days....

So-called "Humanists" define hypocrisy!
To all those who believe the Palestinians (AKA: Philistines) deserve a homeland of their own: The Balfour Declaration re-established a Jewish State where God had given them a perpetual homeland! It also established a Palestinian homeland on the *East* side of the Jordan River!

rape? it extremely is too huge a lie even for a hamas supporter. in fact, israel replaced into accursed for no longer raping(!!!) palestinian women i will cite to you one in each of my previous solutions: there replaced right into a sociological examine paper i could considered some years in the past, and the main thesis of it replaced into (i do no longer undergo in suggestions the final phraseology) that the the IDF infantrymen no longer rape the palestinian lady, because of the fact they racists, and that they no longer evaluate those lady as human beings on their point. as no IDF soldier ever raped a palestine lady, yet your purpose is outwardly to slander the Israeli military perhaps you ought to use this suggestions-set on your propaganda purposes? (why i've got been given a feeling that the psychological point of the discussions sank decrease than sea point in this subject count?) edit: i admit did no longer study the finished element you wrote because of the fact your creation replaced into untrue so i concluded the rest coming from you would be as genuine. it is the reason me referring in common terms to the 1st a million-2 sentences.

isreal kills far more palestinians than vice versa. israel has stolen land (this is post un intervention) from palestine, syria, and lebanon. they have conducted massacres in palestinian refugee camps. they bulldozed an american girl guarding a doctor's house.
they've set up checkpoints all over the city, and, like nazis, prevent their fellow citizens from crossing freely. many people have died at the checkpoints, waiting to get necessary medical care.
the situation is no way equal. israel is the aggressor, the committer of genocide. fighting back is not a crime.
the land was not taken from jews by arabs. hello, what an outrageous lie. the jews that lived there pre-zionism lived there in peace. any jews who wanted to settle there, could. only when the zionists took over (who worked with hitler, by the by) did they institute apartheid and genocide. they are evil, like bush.
