Many people are called legends..most our the famous..in the lime light. I myself can only hope to be rememberd by the people I have touched in my life. In that way..seems to me..if we help others..do the best we can..be true to ourselves and our loved ones..we all are legends..to the people who love us.
Others who believe they are legends...such as those who feel they are better than others..more money..more fame..if they have done nothing for others in my eyes in no way can be considered a legend in any sense of the word.
The more I think about it..legend is a huge term...can it really be that any human is a legend..? I am not sure.
Many would say yes..there are alot of legends..but wow what a title...is it due to popularity..seems most considered legends are dead before that word is applied...makes me wonder...do we appreciate those that are living less..or just cannot help but only see the good in the deceased. Or do we make the deceased legends...because we now are so focused on their passing.
My God..if I look at what I am writing..seems a legend..could be even a bad person...one who receives so much attention..he or she believes they are a legend. Or others who are obsessed with them..believe it to be so.
I now do not think I am so sure about that term...I will settle for being rememberd by others..for what I did..no matter how small. I do not need to be a legend. I will be happy with loved..respected...and when I am no longer on this earth..I hope missed..and with fond memories..attached to my name.

I'm a legend in my family. I have had the title 'Black Sheep' for the most consecutive years in the family. I am 59 and still considered the Black Sheep. I beat my oldest brother who had quit a run. So, yes, I am a legend just ask my family. lol
