Yrs. back after the prom..I did send a letter..to a guy I was dating..letting him know I was not interested in the way he was. I must say I was young..but really the letter may have been the best way..there was no confrontation...arguing...etc. etc. Yes after he received the letter..he was upset..we talked. And believe it or not remained to be friends later on. I guess not all dear John or Jane letters are a bad idea...worse to be
cheating..or lying about feelings.

nope I tell them to their face, if someone is in a responsible mature relationship they need to be adult enough to end it in the same manner
