I have a lot of books I can recommend...

If you like mystery...consider James Patterson's novels. I've read all of these books (with the exception of Cradle & All, I just started that but it's getting good) and they will keep you reading until the last page. James Patterson is my favorite author of all time.
Cat & Mouse
Pop Goes the Weasel
Roses Are Red
Violets Are Blue
Four Blind Mice
Big Bad Wolf
London Bridges
Mary, Mary
Cross
Cradle & All
Judge & Jury
3rd Degree
4th Of July
5th Horseman
The 6th Target

If you like romance...
Sam's Letters to Jennifer by James Patterson
Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas by James Patterson
A Bend in the Road by Nicholas Sparks
Dear John by Nicholas Sparks
The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks
A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks

I am an avid reader, and read about 6-8 books per week, and romances are my favorite. I read a book about 4 years ago and just can't get enough of it....it's called A Knight in Shining Armor by Jude Deveraux, and is really romantic, and has time travel, etc. It's not corny at all...reads more like fiction than romance, but has steamy parts too. My all time favorite book is Over the Moon by Catherine Anderson. It's now out of print, but you can get it used on some sites like half.com and things...it's the best ever, I've read it about 50 times, and never get sick of it!

Have fun!

Not much of a reader, so these must be good. If you like a little mythical, the books written by "Raymond E. Feist" are the best. Start with magician apprentice then, Magician master then just keep going..... He goes through 4-5 generations of families. Wonderfull books.

The Lion's Grave by Jon Anderson Lee (conflict journalism), The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood, Playing with Water (nonfiction, "travel" writing), The Lovely Bones or Lucky by Alice Sebold.....if you're in the mood for something lighter and fun, Stardust by Neil Gaiman...

I just read Anthony Keidis 'Scar Tissue' which is an autobiography from the lead singer of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers which I really enjoyed. otherwise Wilbur Smith is awesome, try 'The power of one' or 'elephant song'. 'Memoirs of a geisha' is an interesting read too.

Well, I would love to recommend some books but you would have to let me know what types of books you like to read. Then I can let you know if I read any of that type. So in other words throw me a freakin bone here. LOL. :)
