Just looked it up and now I'm depressed for sure. Gas was 35 cents a gallon....a stamp cost 6 cents....a gallon of milk was $1.10....and the average price for a new house was $28,000!!!!

When I was 15, gas was 88 to 99 cents...that was back in the late 90s and how I miss those days when I could fill my car up with 10 bucks.

I don't remember the exact price of gas in 1976 but I know it was less than a buck.
I remember one time I only had .75 cents and I went a bought some gas with it.
