What's going on in England - this is the biggest Communist state in Europe. We've benefits going out to the massive influx of Europeans from second world countries. 80% tax on fuel. Where are our production industries? Drugs and crime are rife in cities. Fast-food outlets everywhere. Think about it: about 65-70% of us are working; the rest are either too old; too young or too sick, lazy or stupid to work. Why can't we have an immigration policy like that of Australia? Our trains are crap, our postal system is mostly privatised, our health service is f**ked (£12bn on a new computer system?! When did a computer ever cure an illness?) We have fast-food, enormous cars, shite television, political correctness and health & safety. This is all set against a backdrop of pandering to minority groups, "The War on Terror," greed, and apathy. Our country is being run by lawyers and the media. What's going on?

Someone get this man a beer. You need to sit in a beer garden and smell the roses for a while.

The health service is wonderful, my baby just came out of hospital after long treatment under a consultant surgeon and I dread to think what would have happened if I didn't live in the UK.

Tons of strawberries, hops and other crops will be rotting in the fields this summer becuase there aren't enough immigrants to pick them.

The police state frightens me. the cctv etc and the cost of driving to work and back. Whats going on? The companies are making money out of us, its fascism not communism.

Take a deep breath and think it all through, then write down what you are going to do,

I think that the Uk is great, yes I will moan when my mum who has worked for 40 years and raised my sister and I alone without a penny of benefits, is now on the brink of losing her home beacuse she is ill and the gov' will not contribute to her mortgage and because the NHS is taking so long to treat her. But then my sister and i both had a decent free education. My husband had a motorbike accident and they practically rebuilt him like the bionic man on the NHS.

Production was always going to go abroad if people want to pay Primark prices but not work for low wages, we have done that ourselves. Fast food if we didnt eat it they wouldnt be everywhere. If you lived abroad for a while you would see that our trains, nhs and the post really arent that bad.

If you pay more for the trains and post they will improve! If you refuse to buy clothes made from kids in india and only buy britsh products at the higher price then eventually production will increase again.

Immigration does need curbing and benefits should not be a lifestyle choice but a way to help people through bad times.

But I for onr enjoy getting the train to London, having a few drinks and eating something cooked by an immigrant in Chinatown, knowing if I get too drunk and fall over the good old nhs will fix me up! ha ha

You seem pissed off with your coountry. Something bad happen to you? I don't know where each and every country in the world got there policies and cultures from but each country is unique. I'm from England and I think the government is run by freemasons who just want to keep order by their way of system such as high taxes-keeping the poor POOR and rich RICH. They monitor everything, they say we have free speech but then when a muslim speaks his religion he is called a terrorist. The NHS is only a business and nothing else, run by the government, and employ dedicated workers who are payed little compared to the money wasted on the British army.

Media is there to brain wash people. A typical person will believe what they see on the news or in the papers, but not look at what evidence it is based on.

If I were to be pedantic, I would question some of your "facts and figures", however I would say I agree we waste a lot of money, we spend a lot on undeserving immigrants, we issue dissable badges (give free parking) as if we had a dissabled badge mountain.

Live many countries we have many problems, but don't forget the good things. With regard to the bad things remember New Labour have had a good majority and a decade to deal with them. Your vote may count in improving the situation in a couple of years time

A bunch of rednecks just like you ran around screaming this exactly same diatribe in the late 90's, and got GWB elected. So keep it up, you too can look forward to being run by a right wing war-mongerer and a bunch of religious nut-cases.

One of the big sources of our ills is the price of land. Those big city bonuses and the aristocracy owning most of the land pushes up prices for everyone. Anyone for land reform? in the case of the aristo's their land was mostly taken by force anyway. Once rents etc are reasonable again we can spend more on education etc.

FYI, I work at the airport. American females think they are hot shite when they walk through with Gucci handbags. The women from England carry around the most expensive handbags in the world. Did you read that article where it says the average English woman carries around a $1000 handbag?

The English all have families with plenty of kids. They don't wait till their 40's when they can afford them, because they can afford them now.

You don't even know the meaning of crappy trains. We don't even have any over here, we gotta commute by interstate and Amtrak is teetering on the brink.

12 Billion Pounds on a computer system getting you down? There's more than that wasted in the state of California alone!

God I wish I could live in England right now.

Loads of reasons man ! e.g. You have no collective resistance movements, you're pickled in alcohol something awful, you are servile, up the a s s of the U.S.,obsessed with football and T.V. which is corporate entrapment, narrow minded, mentally lazy, over crowded, the list goes on. Too many old a s s bandits in government feathering their own nests and above all you have that hideous out dated and corrupt "monarchy" made up of human waste !
A classic dumbed down, fear drunk society = U.K.

i agree

our country is in a bad state at the moment but we can only hope it picks itself up soon.

it could be a LOT worse but it could be a lot better aswell.

the best thing you can do is not wind yourself up about it and try and be happy with what you have got now e.g a home, food on the table ect. ect.

hope this helped.
