Yes; there may be complications requiring special medical treatment. In some cases a Cesarean is called for. In other cases, no special treatment is required. In other cases harsh or expensive medication is needed to help the baby's health.
If you are concerned, the talk with a doctor. Medical help is definitely required in such a pregnancy.

Can you have unprotected sex when you have an std?
Of course you can. If this happened to you or someone you know, it is imperative that you begin prenatal care as soon as possible. Based on what I've read in my own pregnancy books, the biggest concern is clearing up the std and making sure it isn't present during labor, when it can be passed onto the newborn.
Best wishes!

Yes you can, an std is just a disease that is passed from sexual experience, it's not birth control, so if you have an std, don't start having sex with anyone just coz you think you won't get pregnant, get medication for it now.

of course you can silly. but you really should get treated BEFORE you get pregnant because certain std's can cause serious birth defects, that is why they take your blood and do a pap smear at your first visit for prenatal care, they're looking for std's and hcg count and iron etc. all kinds of things to make sure you're not a walking disease factory...so they can treat you as early as possible.
