Ultraviolet rays, both A and B exert its kinetic energy effects, by means of heat,,,,,,so your answer is that, heat is the result of applying UV rays to any surface (in the form of heat, or dispersed energy, starting from radiating energy that UV rays are)
I dont know If I am answering clearly your question...at the end ultraviolet light BECOMES heat...(minutes)...and can melt the ice
