No, the amount of fat in the body doesn't change the amount of tissue that forms the endometrium (which is later shed as menstrual flow). The size of the womb is not altered either.

Some women have heavier or lighter flows but it has nothing to do with their weight.
But, if a woman doesn't have enough fat in her body, or has too much, she risks having a hormonal imbalance which could cause ammenohrea (lack of menstrual cycle).

Typically yes because their weight causes their estrogen levels to be abnormal, causing the heavier flow.
