Does anybody know how to levitate without faking it?

I want to learn how to levitate like Criss Angel is that possible?

I have been studying magic for quite sometime. I feel certain that Criss Angel's levitation (face up horizontal) is powered by electromagnets. Outdoors they are easily concealed beneath the ground and malls generally have basements for storage which is probably where the electromagnets are set up for those performances. His "volunteers" are his own crew with the other opposing magnets rigged in their clothing.

The very term "magic" in the street magician sense is synonymous with the term "faked". Essentially all magic is fake. That's the challenge of every magician...to make that which is faked look believable.

You might enjoy reading David Blaine's book, Mysterious Stranger. He gives away some pretty good illusions in the book.

Camera tricks.

No one can really levitate--that would kinda defy the laws of physics. If someone could, we'd be all over it by now, and they wouldn't be doing some crappy cable TV show, okay? :P

If you have really strong magnets in your shoes, and you stand over reversed really strong magnets, that will do it.

But without some kind of aid like that... no.

But if you figure out another way to do it... good for you! But actually, you might want to keep it to yourself -- some people might hunt you down with torches and pitchforks a la Frankenstein's monster. ;)

Since Gravity itself is an inexplicable Magick phenomenon of great strength, I doubt you will find anyone who has found a spell or ritual to override its Magick.
