Whenever I move my wrist in circular motions in either direction there are numerous cracking noises. If any one could provide help on this I would be most gratefull. I have seen a doctor and been told it isnt arthritis. What could this be?

Beyond the obvious "knuckle cracking", this sounds like a persistent thing. Depending on age, it's probably an indication of scar tissue. No need for arthritis to have scar tissue. Often this is caused by a major injury, but just as often by poor ergonomics (body posture and movement patterns) and repetitive actions.

While masturbation is really unlikely to cause this (previous answer), lol, it's quite likely that the way you hold your pen, mouse, phone, or remote (for hours), are all part of the picture.

MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), an organic form of sulfur, is understood by many experts (not MD's) to be nearly as essential in healing as calcium is in bone growth. It's in many foods, but just as easy to get cheaply from a capsule at the health food store.

Proteolytic enzymes (Wobenzym and other brands) are great for helping remove damaged proteins (scars). You can also eat pineapple for some of these enzymes, but might get raw lips from all the acid and enzymes within.

Flexibility exercises (stretching) help as well, as sometimes imbalances in movement or even the way you lift weights can create/worsen the condition.

Good Luck with this... :)

i'm able to too, yet I dont turn it. If I squeeze the two of my wrists long approaches like throughout the time of my hand going thumb-pinkie they pop. My fiance can do his such as you do. i'm able to probable in basic terms do it simply by fact I broke the two one among them some years back, i think off of my fiances trampoline and landed with my palms first at 90degree angles and snapped them. He continually has performed hockey and lacrosse so i think of thats why his do it too.

This happens to me too. I was also told that it's not arthritis but could eventually get it if I keep cracking them. It might be just bad bone density.

HELLO ANTHONY,
JUST WHEN YOU POP YOUR KNUCKLES, THE NOISE YOU HEAR IS FROM NITROGEN BUBBLES ESCAPING FROM YOUR JOINT SPACES. THE HABIT WILL NOT CAUSE ARTHRITIS OR JOINT DETERIORATION -- CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF.
