I know that I too am guilty of this, but I still need to ask: why are we so concerned about what is going on with celebrities like Paris? Is it just some sort of entertainment for us or do we feel like we really need to know?

Really don't care about her, but find myself listening to the circus this has all turned into, because if it was you or me, it surely wouldn't make any headlines! It's turned into another OJ thing.....making a mockery of the legal system and everyday people who don't have the money (or interest) to put themselves on a pedestal. How sad that she and her theatrics are all we've heard about for a month.....while most people don't know anything about the 22 year old girl, who's accomplished a lot in her young life, that went missing down in Florida over Memorial Day weekend and still hasn't been found. I really blame the media for a lot of this...they cram the celebrity stuff down our throats so much that we begin to forget what's really important.

I am not sure I need to know, but it is almost unavoidable. In the first 5 minutes of the nightly news, I am stuck hearing about it.

I think in some ways,,,listening to the drama of celebrities lives, I appreciate my simple life. LOL

i really dont give a **** about celebrities, but people seem to be entertain by them. probably because they're rich and famous and their scandals. people pay too much attention to celebrities, when they should really pay attention to what really happens in the world...

Human Nature. We want to know what's going on so that we can talk about it. Very sad about us.

I really don't know why we need to know all of this stuff. the networks(including CNN0 must think so. This has eclipsed all of the relevant news this week!
