Is she is underweight, she wouldn't have a menstrual cycle, it should return once her weight is up. She should have her pain in her stomach diagnosed & have further test run to find out what is causing her the pain.
It could be IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), diverticulitis (infection in colon), or her appendix, without further test it would be difficult to diagnose her symptoms.
She should eat more fiber. High-fiber foods, such as fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains, soften waste and help it pass more quickly through your colon.
She should drink plenty of fluids. Fiber works by absorbing water and increasing the soft, bulky waste in your colon. But if she doesn't drink enough liquid to replace what is absorbed, fiber can be constipating.
Hope that helps.
