I don't know if the price will really matter. Right now, it is really hard to even find one.
The first year the price remains pretty much the same. I would say 4 months after Christmas '07 the price will come down around $50.

My hubby is a big gamer. People offer to pay $350 for our "used" Wii all the time. But, I won't give it up. We reserved ours before they came out. We were #7 on the list.

Hope you get one Hon.

It might go down, but not much. Ask your parents if they need some help around the house so they could buy the Wii sooner because if you help them out, it's like a reward for the hard work once you get the Wii for your birthday.

It'll most likely go down, but that doesn't mean you'll parents will think it's reasonable. Wait until then, and tell them that it's good for exercise too. Or, if you want it as much as you say you do, tell them you'll accept it as your only Birthday/Christmas present. Along with the games, if they can. If you don't celebrate Christmas, try it with just birthday. Good luck!

They may go down - and they may not -
depends on the market

A few years ago we had to pay $300 for amicrowave oven
now you can get one for $75 - because the market is filled
