If you have an Intel processor, RAM speed is not so significant but if you have AMD, higher RAM speed improves overall PC performance. But take note that gaming performance is a lot more dependent on gpu architecture, gpu core clock and v-ram speed. You've got a card that has everything in it.

BUT then, if you are the adventurous type trying to squeeze out every bit of performance, you could try overclocking both cpu and gpu. Just ensure adequate cooling/ventilation and stay w/in stock voltages and your PC will be safe. Always remember, COOLING is the key to great overclocks.

Speed is a difficult topic since increasing speed of some elements does not increase the global speed.
You have to take into account the fact that games often rely on graphic cards, required CPU, ...
I would suggest that it is better in your case to increase memory size in order to reduce hard drive accesses (which are probably the worse thing in today's PC). Then the Graphic Card is key in gaming and there the overall architecture of the card is very important: memory size, speed, graphic cpu and one of the most important point today: interface with the mother board.

If you only have 533 MB of RAM, it will slow down the performance of any high-end game. I would check the requirements of the game you're playing and see if your hardware meets those requirements. If they don't, you may want to upgrade. RAM, Processor Speed, and Graphics Cards can all affect the performance of a game. :)

(Along with, of course, your internet connection. If you have low bandwidth and you're playing online, the game will lag severely. :) )
