I use VSO ConvertXtoDVD software, and I have a Sony DVD-RW AW-Q170A(master), and a NEC CD-RW NR-9300A(slave).
I bought 2 dvd burners in the past and I have not been able to burn a single video, and Im so frustrated. Can somebody give me some helpful tips on what to do.

I think you've a problem with your ULTRA-DMA controller.
Could you try to remove your cd/dvd drives (power cable unpluged, ide ribbons unpluged) from your computer... Then you restart your computer.... Once you're into your windows session, you close windows, and switch your computer off... You plug again your cd/dvd drives. You start windows again.... and tell me if you've still the same problem.
This procedure will force the bios of the motherboard to be updated, and windows to update the peripherics list (uninstalling/installing cd/dvd drives).
