It doesn't matter what Internet speed you have. AOL IM will work on dial-up, dsl, cable, and satellite Internet connections. Even though you have a fast Internet connection, you will not have any extra advantages for instant messaging compared to a slower Internet connection.

IM's aren't really dependent on your connection speed, well i did have problems but then i upgraded from 2 tins and a bit of string =)

You should be able to use AOL IM (AIM) with any internet service provider (ISP). :-)
