Problem with a VIRUS , please Help!?

Question

It's a Virus that creates folders endlessly , I have Kaspersky as Antivirus , it detectes the Virus (New Folder/Script???.exe) but is totally unable to remove it. Any suggestions on an Antivirus that can remove that thing from my computer. Thank you !

I would try a different antivirus program. I use AVG-it's free and I've been running virus free for 3 years using it. Go to cnet.com to download it and see if it does the job. Hope this helps.

or use Spybot Search and Destroy

Alternatively, if you know when the birus first occurred, try doing a system restore. It'll take you back to a certain date where the virus didn't come. (Start, Help and Support, Undo Changes to your computer using system restore)

Go to the McAfee website and download a program called Stinger. You may need to burn it onto a CD. Once you activate it it will run a scan on your hard drive and delete any viruses it finds.

Try to scan in safe mode with Kaspersky.
To get in safe mode tap F8 when booting your computer.

Or try scanning in safe mode with network and some online scanners.
Tap F8 when booting your computer. Choose safe mode with network.

Go to Start -> Run: type: iexplore http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html (Enter/OK)
Scan your computer.
If you find something; delete it. Restart and do the same again. When the scanner finds nothing this scan is finish.

Reboot again in safe mode with network.
Start -> Run: type: iexplore http://www.ewido.com/en/ (Enter/OK)
Scan your computer.
If you find something; delete it. Restart and do the same again. When the scanner find nothing this scan is finish.

Now you can reboot to normal mode.

*NOTE: Do not surf the net or open any programs when doing this scans. This because you can start spyware/adware/viruses manually.

try to use bitdefender. im using it for months and it detects all viruses in my computer except for some spyware and adware. but it works superior on viruses. just try and you will like it.
