my husband had a vasectomy a year this august he had the all clear , just lately i look pregnant not fat odd periods not as heavy or as long . one min the doctor says to me are u pregnant i reply i cant see how then she sends me for smear and swobs followed by are u sure your not pregnant. as now i bleed if my cervix is touched or wrong positions cause the bleed.i'm waiting for test then i was told by the nurse when doing the smear that if all come back clear got to see doctor to be reaffered to gynocallagy for scan. followed by is there a chance u could be pregnant , why is everyone asking this? my husband says i look pregnant not over weight , now we are starting to wonder . the doctor also told me that in the first year there is a chance that it could of reconected its self.

home test with my last 4 children didn't work till quite late on in the pregnancy but i have done 1 it said negative .

each person you come in contact with will ask you the same thing-are you sure?- they all do it. i think it's just to cover all the bases. you've taken the tests but i don't know if tubal pregnancies show up on the tests or not. something else must be going on. wait to see what the scan shows. good luck.

As you say, a vasectomy can grow back. The doctors are asking because that's usually the primary reason why a woman's periods don't seem normal. Have you tried to use a home pregnancy test?
