Hi just another query about this kit. I am now on day 4 of using this (have used 4 test sticks so far), and on day 14 of my cycle. Now my periods are 100% regular and luckly always have been. I do have the text book 28 day cycle, so i thought I would have ovulated today yet the ovulation kit has not yet detected my LH surge. This is the 1st time in using this ov kit so i am a little unsure what to expect from it any advice would be appreciated.

I'm currently using them too and just got my first positive result today. It's best to take them 2x a day, because you could have a short surge and miss it if you only do it once a day. Last month I missed it by doing it only 1x a day and now I do it 2x a day, once at 12, and again at 8pm. With your very regular 28 day cycle I would have though you would have gotten a positive result yesterday. Keep taking them though, because although most women ovulate 14 days before their missed period, some women have a shorter luteal phase, and that could be your case. Good luck. A great websight to go to for these test is www.peeonastick.com It's been so helpful and has pictures of results.

Well I too have a 28 day reg. cycle and I ovulte on day 16 I'm pregnanct now (15 weeks) I used the same brand of test so just hang it will change to (+) soon. Also keep in mind the day you get a (+) reading that means you have about 24-48 hours and then the ovulation window closes so you could still get a (+) reading tomorrow or the next day and you would be fine. Good Luck in your efforts of TTC I'll keep my fingers crossed!

I had this happen to me before when I used these. I had textbook cycles as well--28 days on the nose. But I found through my trials wtih testing that sometimes I ovulated on day 14 or 15--one month it was day 17. One month it was day 12. When I talked to my OB, he said that just becuase you are spot on in terms of when you get your period doesn't mean you will be consistent in terms of when you ovulate. It's within a window. I ALWAYS ovulated every month and that test was accurate as hell becuase I had AI and when I woudl go in, my OB would tell me that I was definitely ovulating. Just be patient and keep testing. Good luck!

Test 2 or more times a day to make sure that you catch the surge!
