Not when under way but have been in 3. 1 German in Chicago, 1 Russian in Long Beach Calif, 1 U S Nuclear in Honolulu. Naturally the U S Sub was by far the most comfortable. Oh - 1 more in Mobile Bay an old U S Sub.

Once married to a submariner, I toured the USS Permit ... in 1981 I believe. I still remember being surprised at how small the bunk space was. It would have left me claustrophobic to sleep in such a confined space ... and I thought for sure my chest would not be able to fully expand during an intake of breath in such an environment. Otherwise, the tour ... as I recall now ... some 25 years later ... was uneventful.

Yeah when I was like in 5th grade we took a feild trip to disney world and got on a submarine there and saw all these cool water creatures. It was cool. Got some pictures of it..

Yes,a on display submarine,WHen i was little.On this family ship,i remember me and my brother crawling around in it,trying to find hidden tunnels.Oh that was fun,thanks for reminding me.

Yes I have. My ex was in the navy, and he was stationed in Groton, CT. Each year they had a "family underway" for friends and family of the sailors stationed aboard the sub. It was a short ride, but I did go underwater. I was sorta freaked out when my ex told me I was sitting quite near a torpedo, but it was a really exciting.
BTW-this was in the early 90's, so they probably have stopped this these days due to the threat of terrorism.

Yes, when I was a little girl visiting with my dad we went in to a submarine and when we were under then we could see a lot of fish. It was such a beautiful sight to see. Thanks for reminding me of what a fun thing that was to do.
