I am not an attorney, but if someone like that threatened me I would immediately (and so fast it would make his head spin)go straight to the police with this. Then I would ask the police to assist me with a public defender and obtain some protection from them. Some questions are: Did he have full custody of them? Did you ever have custody of them? Why is he threatening you if you get them out of Foster care? Obviously there is a lot more story here, but you really need to protect yourself. One needs to stand up and take control of the situation. If you really think he is capable of carrying out this threat, then mail a letter to the police and the media with all of the details in it, then if anything happens they can visit him and put his *** in jail. If he is in jail, guess what? You can go get your children. Good Luck!

I think you should check with children's' services first to make sure the foster home your ex placed the children in is legit, if it is, inform them of your circumstances. Find out if it is possible for him to just go in and remove the children whenever he pleases without legal consent. When you have made sure the children are safe, you need to take care of yourself. There are battered women shelters that take women in, give them a safe place to stay, and also offer counseling to help them get back on their feet. You will not be able to take care of your children if you are in danger. It is a very emotional process and unless you are very sure you know what you want and are willing and determined to follow through it isn't something children should be subjected to. There is help available and money or a lack of funds will not be a problem.

First of all contact the police regarding your ex-husband threatening to kill you. You need to file a restraining order against him (if you have not already).

You can search the Internet for some help regarding getting your kids back. I have attached a couple of websites for you to refer to that do pro bonno work or offer legal assistance. You can file almost anything regarding family law yourself in the state of Arizona. I lived in Arizona and my boyfriend and his ex-girlfriend filed everything regarding their child's custody and support without ever using an attorney.

I am going to school for a medical profession, but I used to work for 2 lawyers. I dont know much about it, but I know for a fact that you need to report his threats. Anything recorded or written (email, napkin, WHATEVER!!) will help in a court case such as this. My heart goes out to you. Call the state attorney and see what actions you can take against the asswipe. BUT BE SURE TO RECORD PHONE CONVERSATIONS AND SAVE EMAILS FROM HIM!!!! They can be printed off and handed to the police. The judge can call for all records on this guy to be brought in.

Speak to the police on a technical point of view and see if you can get a AVO out on him.

I'm guessing your children might be better off not with you sweetie.... If this is as good as your English skills are, and living in Arizona, the salaries are not high for unskilled women.....Think of them perhaps, rather than yourself. Why DID he put them under county care???? Just to get back at you or are they probably better off? Something to consider.......
