Well, personally, I have no problem with the blonde stereotype because it doesn't really apply to me...most of the time! I LOVE blonde jokes and I like telling them too.

I also know LOTS of people who aren't blondes that are worse than the blondes you hear about in jokes.

But, I have found that a good way to disprove this is not to give in to it. Even if you *are* a little blonde, don't give in to the stereotype because when you do that, the people stereotyping people as blondes, think they've won.

Well I am a blonde and I find some blonde jokes funny... How did the stereotype get started anyways???

Well I don't feel the need to prove or disprove anything. I am just me : silly and not, serious and not at times, making a complete idiot of myself also at times.

I don't think if I had been born with more melatonine my personality would change.

Would people take me more seriously if I had dark hair ?..Frankly I never thought of that one even though I read that that could be the case (alright a blonde answer for you here).

I don't mind blonde jokes..I laugh at them just the same.

And to tell you the truth..even if it would be difficult to believe..I just don't think of my hair colour; not conscious of it, seeing every day .....would be like noticing my little finger..

Now shall I go and blame my parents who passed on their genes to me ? :-).

Now...got to find another question not dealing with blondes today :-)

I think blondes everywhere are tons of fun. There's no need to disprove the stereotype. Wouldn't you rather be underestimated and suprise the hell out of someone than be overestimated and dissapoint someone?

Am I blonde or Brunette. I am so stupid I think I must be blonde. Is being blonde the lighter of the two hairs, that always confuses me

Sometimes, but not always. I don't think I'm dumb, so if I want to disprove the stereotype, I'm just my normal self. Sometimes though, I live up to it just for the hell of it.

I don't cause I AM blonde and clueless, really. I think it's kinda fun. (i don't look like my avatar)
However, I DON'T think that people should assume I am stupid. I mean, I'd make them watch legally blonde. Elle was dumb, but she was soooooooooo smart.

Basket, it's the people who dye their hair blonde that give us a bad name.
