I am really kind of in shock.
That so many think naruto is better.

Well, it depends in words of the anime yes in quality and dubs and subs. Not to mention the fight scenes are more gruesome with blood and wounds.With different music for different occassions , it kinda" tells'' the mood like the music that is key to suspense moments. And sad music for the sad moments. In terms of anime DBZ is way better than Naruto.
Let's compare the manga. The naruto manga is detailed, but let's face it if it weren't for DBZ , Naruto would have never been thought of. In certain terms The DBZ manga is slightly better due to it's long time as a manga and is considered one of the best manga's as it gave way to Bleach,Naruto , One Piece ,etc. It can be considered as the god of manga. However ,so can Naruto also paved way for current and aspiring manga artists. Let's just say DBZ molded manga into what it is today as naruto is molding the future generation. All in all they are equal in terms of manga. But DBZ is 5% better than the naruto manga. I like Naruto more than DBZ , but these are the facts that if people were deciding to pick up Naruto vol. 1 and Dragon Ball Z Vol. 1
They would probably pick up DBZ due to it's reign as the molder of manga. However say the more creatiive person looking for new things would pick up naruto, not due to it's originality, but due to it's use of explaning humankind and history in metaphors and plots. DBZ is dreamer and Naruto is the dream. DBZ the Legend and Naruto the Teacher. I hope that helps!

I would say that naruto is better, but it's really up to whoever is watching it. Naruto currently has 221 episodes and naruto shippuuden has about 15 or so episodes.
DBZ was good too.

I liked DBZ when i was younger but after the first 3 season it becomes all the same (someone stronger has arrived so i must get stronger).
Naruto is OK not awesome the main character get more annoying then cool most the time.

No, I don't agree.
I think the artwork, plot development and characters are much better in Naruto then in Dragonball.
But Naruto's creator was inspired by Dragonball anyway.
And as far as Dragonball goes, I liked it before the Z came....cause the story changed completely and I couldn't ever believe it was ther same anime..

dragon ball z is better than naruto, because the fighting is awesome and the story is good. naruto is a show that have too much hyped for everybody. dragon ball z have some fillers, but in the good way. naruto have fillers since episode 136 and they make no sense. dragon ball z started the whole anime fans while naruto try to make love for the fans.
