Yes, On May 16, 2007, The Winner was canceled.
Rating weren't good, and it could not compete with other shows like American Idol, 24, Prison Break, or House that are shown on Fox.

It got canceled because the ratings couldn't stand up to the hits Fox has produced already, such as 24, House, American Idol, etc.
Of course, what comedies can stand up to the greatest shows on TV?
