If it's got twin fiddles, a steel guitar, and a nice country beat, then I'll dance to and sing along to it. In fact the majority of the karaoke songs I do are classic country and older rock and roll. As for rap, heavy metal, and all this garbage they do now a days, I don't even consider it music, but more like noise.

I truly enjoy Bluegrass and older Country (pre-1950). "Footprints in the Snow"... "Fox on the Run"...

I also like older Country.. I used to play back-up with the late Ernest Tubb... "Waltz Across Texas"... and others of the same time era... "Pretty Fraulein"...

Because my father and Grand-father were both with the Stamps Quartet, I also love the old Gospel. Songs like "I am a Pilgrim"... "Set Your Fields on Fire"... "A Beautiful Life".
