ok so the deal is that yesterday i took apprently my bc pill at 3:00 pm as always for the last 5 months. but then at night i wasnt sure i took it so i took another one from another half use pack that i had for this kinds of emergencies at 12:00 pm. and today at 3:00 pm i took the one for today so what are effectiness effects. are the less or the same. pretty much i may have taken an extra pill of the pack....so its the first time this happens to me.

Just dont take more pills than you should. i dont think this incident will do harm. here's what you can do so that next time you will ALWAYS be sure you are taking your pills everyday, on time, all the time...
Put your pills beside a small table calendar (the throw away kind) and a marking pen (the permanenet ink kind). each time you take your pill, just, simply, mark the calendar : )
When evening comes, there will be no problem remembering if youve taken your pills or not... the marked calendar will tell you if you havent : )

You should be fine since you haven't technically missed any pills, but only took an extra one.

Think you should be o.k
An extra pill may cause no harm for now except you allow it to become frequent.

You should be ok (meaning same effectiveness) but because it's the weekend I would recommend double checking with your pharmacist to see what they say til you can talk to your dr on Mon.
