I think you missed it dear Matt. You are so much more mature and confident than any man I've known who was going through it that I just don't see how you still have it left to go through. If you get the sporty red car I am seeing your son or wife riding with you, with flowers and goat feed tucked into the corners.

Somewhere around 40. Now, go ahead and pencil in getting a little red sports car. Don't do what my ex did during his mid-life crisis and have an affair with a younger woman! Sheesh...it felt like SUCH a cliche to say my husband left me for a younger woman!

This is a hard question to answer. They say 50 is the new 30(or is it 40?), so you would have to factor that in figuring out how old society thinks you are. If you pull out the red sports car and Paris Hilton wannabe and ill fitting toupee too soon or too late we might miss the opportunity to point and laugh ;)

You have two choices here:
a: When you fancy a new car. Get something outrageous and impractical and use MLC as your defence.
b: Be optimistic and write it up for your fifty-second birthday. Hey, you never know, you might beat the odds. Plus, by then you can probably afford a really expensive stupid car.

I penciled mine in for my 33rd birthday, but I was sick and had to postpone it for another 20 yrs. 53 is a good number. Think of Herbie!
