I bought a HP laptop and I need to take it to China this summer with me. I went to a luggage store in St. Catharines and purchased a converter kit with 4 plugs and an adaptor. I realized though that the plugs in the kit only support 2 prongs (no ground plugs). My laptop has a ground pin and i can't put it's cord into the converters. Given that laptops are used for business travel alot, does anyone know where or how I can buy a proper converter? I need my laptop to work there and I need to not blow it up in the process. I live in the Niagara region, any help here would be SOOOO appreciated!

You should be able to go to any hardware store (Lowes...) and buy a adapter that will take your 3 prongged plug and make it a 2 prongged plug. As far as the power supply check it to make sure it goes from 100v~240v or something like that. If so you will not need a converter just a plug adapter.
