I've been to thirty three states in the continental U.S. And from my travels, this is what I have concluded.
More People-definately California, but it's not all throughout the state. There are BEAUTIFUL little mountain towns outside of LA where you see beautiful green hills and trucks loaded down with lemons and limes traveling throughout the countryside. It's colorful and amazing. Also, the Sequoia National Forest is on of the most beautiful national parks I've been to. I went there middle of summer and I still saw light snow near the end of our tour of it.
Most popular-aside from California(because it has like five cities and major attractions people love to visit) is Hawaii. I, myself, have never been there, but I know plenty of people who have. It sounds a little cliche, but it's probably really amazing. One of my favorite states that I've actually been to was Maine. It might not be that popular, but it has beautiful beaches, nifty light houses, and all the lobster you want! Colorado's beautiful, too. I've been through Vale and around Aspen, and it has beautiful ski resorts, lacrosse activities, and AMAZING rapids.
Most talked about- DEFINATELY California. Why? Because nearly every film the movie industry puts out involves a beach town or someone moving to Hollywood. Especially in younger people. Also, many MAJOR things are filmed there, such as American Idol. Big tourist attraction. Vegas, aside from Nevada, is talked about plenty, also. This is a result of television ads about it, it's "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" motto, and various entertainment shows.

I used to think New York and California. But seems like Georgia has been more in the news and talked about lately. Not to mention its popularity...

California is the most populated in the US. WEll they are popular because they have LA , San Francisco and all of those city. And well its always talked about because LA is always mentioned.

New York, Just watch how many movies are made with NY in it, just look at the 911 disaster. They did't pick Cali because all it would do is prevent bad movies fom being made..
