Some people just have nothing better to do with their time...I have told people outright that the question they have asked is a personal matter and they should really be ashamed of asking such stuff in public. It is better to shut them down than to have to suffer the embarassment they should be feeling for offending in the first place.

if it's someone i know, or am getting to know, i get a bit uncomfortable but realize that it is just part of the process. if it is someone i've never seen before, you can hear the doors slamming shut for miles around.
